2017 Changes to Georgia's Direct Pay Permits

Most Georgia Direct Pay Permits will expire in fewer than 80  work days!  If a company did not obtain the permit online via the Georgia Tax Center the company must meet new requirements and obtain new permits for 2017.  Why is Georgia revamping its Direct Pay program?  One major revision to the program is the new required waiving of interest on refunds of overpaid sales and use taxes made by permit holders.  The state will save money from this requirement.   Learn more by reading Lauren's SalesTaxSupport blog.
